There are just five short days left until the February break where, instead of hunkering down in our classroom and avoiding the cold, we can enjoy other activities like hunkering down in our homes and avoiding the cold!
I want to thank all of the families that came out to conferences on Friday to celebrate the successes of their children! Your support is absolutely crucial to the work we do at Wascana, and we very much appreciate your enthusiasm and time.
Here is a snapshot of what we will be up to this week:
Monday (Day 5) - Cree w/ Ms. Elles, Aboriginal storyteller presentation, Grade 6 Band Sectionals, Inquiry w/ Mr. Dusyk, Boys' basketball practice
Tuesday (Day 1) - Arts Ed. w/ Mrs. McDonald, Intermediate fiddle, Inquiry w/ Mr. Dusyk, Boys' basketball vs. Walker, ACT! meeting
Wednesday (Day 2) - Arts Ed. w/ Mrs. McDonald, Full Band, Inquiry w/ Mr. Dusyk, Girls' basketball practice
Thursday (Day 3) - Phys. Ed., Arts Ed. w/ Mrs. McDonald, Niska Boys drum circle, Destination Imagination, Girls basketball @ Walker
Friday (Day 4) - Contemporary Dance performance at University of Regina, Kindergarten reading buddies, Inquiry w/ Mr. Dusyk
